This blog is intended to provide a little peek into what is produced in my "get-away" space during the wee hours when my attention is not needed elsewhere. Some things are personal creations, others are special-order custom creations, and others are filled orders from my Etsy store. Sometimes there are many new things and other times are slow-going, which is normal, because the pace of everything else in my house is hyper-speed.

It makes me happy to create things...for myself and family, for friends, and even for total strangers. It also makes me happy that I GET to do it, but I don't HAVE to do it. :)

I'm not a professional seamstress and I don't claim to offer professional results, but I guarantee they'll be fun and look good!

For November

November...
The last of my Jesse Tree ornaments finished and sold on Etsy.  I will definitely be making more of these for next year!

I don't have any little nieces to spoil, so I take advantage of finding gratification in creating things for my little girl cousins.  Not to mention that I just love making apron dresses anyway!

More car seat covers and nursing covers...too many to post really!  Here are a few:

I love giving hostess gifts.  I think it is something that has gotten lost today, but I thoroughly enjoy it...especially when it means I can make an apron!
